Burning Man

It all started on a quiet beach in San Francisco in 1986 when a small group of counter-culture people set fire to an eight foot effigy in celebration of the summer solstice. Over the years Burning Man has evolved into a sold-out event attended by over 50,000 free-spirited and festive participants celebrating a week in the Nevada desert that belies description.

Suppose you aren’t Lawrence of Arabia, prepared to eat, sleep and breathe Nevada desert dust and willing to pay as much as $5,000 per ticket to a scalper. We invite those would-be burners to experience last year’s unique event that closed with the traditional burning of the effigy which has grown to over forty feet tall.
