Thanks Archie and Edith Bunker. Unfortunately for us super seniors, the lives we live today are anything but ordinary. Catching up and keeping up, especially with our ever-evolving sources of information, opinion and influence, are a challenge for this ex-media guy. On July 28, 2019, 300 federal drug enforcement officers descended upon the little town of Garland, North Carolina, population 619, shut down a drug lab and seized a large amount of cocaine, crack, heroin and methamphetamine with a street value of $10,000,000. Including children, that would amount to $16,155 per person. Obviously the stuff was moving on. Illicit drugs are big business. They are the scourge of every town in America, large and small. How did we let this happen?
